Kin Canada has a 10-year partnership with Canadian Blood Services, however our history goes back much father than that. Blood donation is a cause Kin Canada has been involved with since our founding over 100 years ago.
Since 2014, Kin Canada Members have donated over 10,000 units of whole blood, platelets and plasma. Kin also support Canada's Life Line by adopting blood clinics, volunteering and making financial contributions.

Throughout his life, Hal Rogers believed in the value of education. In his own words, "providing and promoting the finest and most effective education possible for our young people" was a noble endeavor.
Hal’s commitment and devotion to education is evidenced in his many years as a trustee on the Forest Hill Board of Education. In addition, the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation named Founder Hal the first recipient of the coveted Lamp of Learning Award (pictured right) in 1950. The Lamp is awarded annually to a non-teacher who has made an “outstanding contribution to public secondary education in the Province.”
The HREF is supported by Kinsmen, Kinette and Kin clubs, and public donations.
From the fund, $1,000 bursaries are awarded to successful Canadian applicants who are pursuing post-secondary education at a recognized university, community college, technical institute and other schools for advanced education.

Since 1964, Kin members have raised more than $50 million for cystic fibrosis research and patient care. Many clubs participate in CFC's annual events like the Walk to Make Cystic Fibrosis History, Shinerama, Ride for the Breath of Life, and Lawn Summer Nights.
